Low Ratio Gear Sets

BPT offers a low ratio gear set for added performance. All low ratio sets are fully rollerized. The components are made of lightened steel. The reverse low drum and direct drum is available in 70/75 T6 Aluminum.
The table below shows the various gear ratio combinations available. Figures in grey show the affect of adding a 20% (first column) or 30% (second column) V2OD overdrive unit.

Rollerized Transmissions

BPT replaces all stock thrust washers with rollerized torrington bearings.
Additionally, the reverse drum, upper planet and drive shell are lightened. The upper planet is remachined.
